DON’T BLAME DON

-

Not a Trump fan. Didn’t vote for him. Never will. But blaming him for the onset of the corona virus and its devastation is like blaming FDR for Pearl Harbor and WWII.

PLAY BALL

Sports teams should be looking into how they can get sports back. Having sports on TV would get more people to stay home to watch and maybe discuss on the radio about the outcomes etc. Sport commissioners, owners, and players should try and figure out how to get their sports back to play. I don’t know why baseball and hockey can’t get back easily. The hockey players are all covered up except for a few spots. Baseball players very seldom make contact. Both the players and people (no fans in the stadium) that are needed can get tested coming in and keep each other safe. I’m sure there are other safety measures needed but I think it can happen sooner rather than later. Basketball, which is my second-favorite sport, might be tougher because of the contact and sweat. But they should try to get back also.

HELP

ROLL UP THE BARREL

Now is a good time to prove to people they truly are idiots. And no, it’s not by political party. You are both idiots on that count. It been about a month since the TP hoarding. So how many of you have used more than two rolls in this time? So that means by this time next year you will be lucky if you use 24 rolls. So those of you who have more than that will be tripping over them or having to move them constantly. That’s karma reminding you that you’re an idiot. For those that say, I did it because everyone else was; you’re both a follower and an idiot. For those of you who used paper towels because you couldn’t find TP and tried flushing it; you are now starting you pay that price. Oh, that makes you a moron.

BLAME THE DEMS

I laughed when I read the letter from “SMH” regarding the threats against Dr. Fauci. The nature of threats against Dr. Fauci and those responsible have not been released to the public so to state that it is coming from Trump supporters is false and ridiculous. I’m a highly educated women from the suburbs who stays informed of all facts and I’m a Trump supporter (even though I’m supposed to fit the definition of a Trump hater). I’ve never threatened anyone either verbally or physically, and I don’t know anyone who has. Interestingly, almost every news story about politically charged threats to others identifies the perpetrators as Democratic supports of Hillary Clinton who still are living in 2016, or Trump haters, similar to the man who almost killed Steve Scalise while he was playing softball (as I recall the shooter was both).

So, “SMH,” you represent those who continue to cause division among us and you should be ashamed of spreading falsehoods to promote your agenda.

PH, TRUMP SUPPORTER

FROM THE SUBURBS

TRY MEL

I got a great idea for your movie-watching during the quarantine time, “High Anxiety” by Mel Brooks. What do you think? I’m the movie Maven in Marple.

BLAME TRUMP

Random thoughts: A certain Sound Off regular claimed Trump does not have blood on his hands. He absolutely does. He refused test kits from WHO for three months, as usual, in his arrogance. Then he downplayed this entire tragedy. To blame the Democrats for “distracting” comes right out of the Hannity playbook. I thought he was a “stable genius.“Now he is relishing the situation in hopes of re-election. In summation, enjoy wearing a mask for a year and spewing nonsense on Sound Off, courtesy of your (not mine) “president.”

SIR PEACE RIOT

CUOMO IS THE MAN

It’s easy to understand why Trump is leaving the handling of the coronavirus up to governors. If things go, well, he can take credit for things going well and if things go badly he can blame it on the governors’ approach to handling the virus. Trump is standing around congratulating himself for the great job. He has done nothing. Andrew Cuomo has showed what a real leader does by taking decisive action to try to curb the spread of the virus.
