END THE LOCK DOWN Sound Off: Call 484-470-6442 or email newsroom@delcotimes.com
Yeah, just something to think about. Pennsylvania has over 12.8 million people living here and 40,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus. Why is the whole state shut down? That’s a very low number and don’t tell me it’s because we’re shut down. I just think it’s ridiculous that everything is shut down. There’s over 200,000 deaths worldwide. How many billions and billions and billions of people live in the world? Why are we letting this virus shut everything down. This is crazy. It’s time to get back to work. People are not going to stay in their house too much longer.
BEWARE THE MASKS
Please, please stop buying masks from Korea and China. They’re on the market now you’re asking for trouble right there. Please do not buy these masks.
FORGET THE POLITICS!
Let’s try to be positive in such difficult times! Trump is handling a pandemic! We all have to pull together and be there for each other! It’s not politics at this time, it’s a crisis! Instead of criticizing the president, let’s do something nice for each other! Take the negative energy and make a meal for someone struggling more than you! It is going to take time to recover from this worldwide pandemic!
Check on your neighbors! Send a note to someone less fortunate than you!

PENCE’S SECRET
Pence and Trump are horrible role models for our country. Pence’s most recent offense of running around even to Mayo Clinic without a mask was blatant disregard for the front line health care workers and patients. If he thinks he’s too pretty to cover his face, he’s dead wrong. Makes you wonder if him, Trump, Putin and others you’ve noticed have received a vaccine that is only reserved for the most vile and disgusting who lack compassion and empathy.

CHEERS TO BROOKHAVEN
A shout out to the Brookhaven Fine Wine & Good Spirits store. Very glad you’re open! Moved to lower Nether Providence three years ago and the Brookhaven store has always been well stocked and is staffed by wonderful people. Spent half of my working-at-home time last week getting busy signals from Media and Springfield. Was pleasantly surprised to be able to place an order at Brookhaven. You guys are the best! LIGHT UP MY LIFE
Here’s a positive comment. I walk every day. I live in Norwood and I go through Prospect Park and I love the lamps that they have. Norwood now has them on West Monona. They’re beautiful. I walked last night. The sidewalks were lit. It just looks so nice.
MOSCOW MITCH STRIKES AGAIN
Mitch McConnell proved himself spineless once again. Though Gov. Cuomo handled McConnell already, I’d like to take a shot as well. Mitch McConnell wants to let states go bankrupt despite being a member of the GOP, which enjoys selfproclaiming itself as patriotic. Would McConnell, or other right-wing fanboys, have a problem with Boeing hitting rock bottom? Capitalism is their love, right? The free market? Then let the businesses tank alongside the states. McConnell wouldn’t allow the private sector to plummet, yet would allow states he claims were making bad economic decisions prior to the pandemic to collapse. How do you feel about bad decisions made prior to 2008, Mitch? Should we have let those fraudsters fail, or were they too big?

CREEPY JOE
We don’t need another Bill Clinton in the White House. At least Bill Clinton had a brain and knew what he was doing. He was a good president except for his extracurricular activities. Biden wouldn’t be a good president because he doesn’t have a clue. Why is Joe Biden quiet about these sexual allegations? If he’s innocent, then why doesn’t he make a statement? I doubt that he is innocent. How many times have we seen pictures of him touching women, rubbing their backs? He is a creep.
