GOODBYE, GOP

To the lady you said there was a Community Day of Healing and she’s from Drexel Hill and she was embarrassed because there were no Republicans at the at the meeting, I’d just like to let her know all the Republicans have moved out of Upper Darby and Drexel Hill. The last time I checked the school board is Democrats and the township council’s Democrat. All the leadership is Democrat - the mayor’s a Democrat and everybody’s Democrat. So someone please inform her that they voted all the Republicans out of office and I believe they have moved on.

THE FIGHT FOR SOUTH PHILLY

Being Italian American.

I’m proud of it. I’m so glad to see the people of South Philly defend their property and the Christopher Columbus statue. They have to because their mayor is the worst ever. I was born and raised in South Philly and their properties mean a lot to them.

BLAME THE DEMOCRATS

Here’s the deal: It’s time for Gov. Chicken Crap to open up this state. People need to get back to work. People need to get to that barber for haircuts. People need to be able to go outside and do their thing and we don’t need this Democratic war on to keep us from doing what we want to do. Remember in November, everybody. That was the Democrats that cost you your job and your schooling.

PUMP IT UP

For “Wondering:” There are two stations in Havertown that pump your gas. The first is on Eagle Road at Grasslyn Avenue and the second is on the eastbound side of Route 3, West Chester Pike, across from Manoa Shopping center.

ARTHRITIC SENIOR

MATT IS THE MAN

Kudos to Delco Times and Matt DeGeorge for highlighting all Delco senior high school athletes in various springtime sports cut short by COVID19. Great idea.

CHEERS

CUT THEM OFF

The standoff in Seattle could be rectified in two minutes. All you have to do is block cell phone service to that area the city. The moron Millennials wouldn’t last five minutes if they couldn’t look at their precious telephones. It’s time to take back the city. God bless America and God bless President Trump.

THE IDEA MAN

STANDING PAT

Yo Pennsylvanians! Sen. “Trump Puppet” Toomey has received the 2020 Champion of Patient Access Award. This was announced in a June 7 halfpage advertisement paid for by Alliance for Patient Access. I found this very peculiar because I know this gutless senator has supported abolishing the Affordable Care Act since it was established. After some due diligence, I learned that the advertiser is a nonprofit organization whose list of supporters includes over a dozen major pharmaceutical companies and that the doctors who serve on this company’s board of directors, while receiving no salaries, receive tens of thousands of dollars in consulting fees. In 2015 and 2016 this company spent approximately $13.6 million to “recognize” politicians friendly to its objectives. I agree Sen. Toomey is champion. Champion of America’s drug companies!

BILL FROM BROOMALL

TRY GLENOLDEN

To “Help at the Pump” for senior citizens: There is an Exxon gas station on Chester Pike in Glenolden. You just drive straight out Chester Pike. It’ll be on the website. On the other side is a drugstore. I’m another granny and I go there all the time. They’re very good. They will pump your gas. God bless. Have a good day.

ANOTHER GRAM

WELCOME JOE

I’m delighted that Joe Biden has selected Darby to come to tomorrow. If you know anything about Joe Biden, he’s a down-toearth blue collar guy. He was raised in the coal regions of Northeastern Pennsyvania and he never forgot where he came from. It’s excellent that he’s coming to Darby and he can relate to the people in Darby. Meanwhile, our president is giving a political rally and telling them they can’t sue if they get coronavirus.
