A TIME TO DIE
To “Blame The Democrats:” You are such a fool. You want everything to open up. You said that people need to work, get a haircut, etc. You forgot to mention, people need to die. Do you know how serious this pandemic is? This virus is doing what it does best — that is contaminating us and killing us in the process. We must be cautious as the state opens up gradually. To name-call our governor “Gov. Chicken Crap” is uncalled for. He’s just trying to do his job by heeding to the scientists, not you. Also, to politicize everything doesn’t make sense. Maybe we can be like the virus that doesn’t discriminate political affiliation, skin color, age, gender or socioeconomic status.

TAXING SYSTEM
Final property assessments out on July 1, 2020, with appeals by September 1, 2020. Really. What happened to the prior notice to appeal within 10 business days of the date on the notice to homeowner back in February 2020? In-person appointments were scheduled and cancelled, replaced by phone interviews, which were cancelled without notification. Repeated phone calls to the Delco consultants were not answered and voice messages ignored. Add a new Delco Health
Org. to the substantially increased 2021 assessments and our real estate and school taxes will be out of sight and unaffordable, especially for those who have lost their jobs and for seniors who are already struggling. Stop trashing the Washington politicians and start worrying about the politicians in your front yard.

Lyn Linker, having an admitted memory flaw can’t change history. We had a Republican Congress that constantly vetoed President Obama’s work for the people. It’s annoying that Trumpettes constantly bring up President Obama’s name when defending Emperor Trump’s wrongdoings.

TIME TO GET ORGANIZED
Here it is another Sunday and the beginning of the week. I’m packing up my household goods and putting them in storage so I can sell my house and move out of the home where I’ve lived for many years, the home where I raised my children and the home from which I buried my husband. And the candidates for state senator both Democrats and Republicans don’t care about my situation. I think it’s time where we retirees we senior citizens quit silently moving away out of Delaware County. It is time we organized our own party and put forth a candidate who will vote for us. And what do we want? We want to get rid of the school property tax because that is the tax that is running us out of Delaware County on a retirement income that we cannot afford. I read all the time in Sound Off people complaining about the the school property taxes. I am so depressed. I keep wishing I would get some debilitating disease so I could pass, maybe that would solve my problem.
