WEAR YOUR MASKS CORRECTLY BAD EXPERIENCE

- A REALIST IN RIDLEY SACH PJ SIR PEACE RIOT WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER

Thankfully Delaware County has entered the green phase of opening after many months. Many people and families suffered during the shelter-inplace. The businesses that have able to open during all the phases must adhere to many rules laid out by the state Health Dept. and CDC. These include face masks, greatly reduced capacity, reduced hours of operation, expenses for safety modifications and intense cleaning protocol, etc. All we, the customers, have to do is adhere to social distancing and wear face masks correctly. This is only a minor inconvenience when compared to what we have all been through. So, please, wear face masks correctly. Just covering your chin does

not help at all.

I feel compelled to Sound Off about the Sound Off in Sunday’s Times, “State of Grace.” You know, how could Delaware County Council show Mrs. Grace the door, you know, wouldn’t they want someone who is experienced in county government? You know, maybe the fact that Delaware County never had a health department much needed by the way, but the Republican Party blocked it and said they couldn’t afford it. You know, that’s the kind of experience we don’t need. These moaners and groaners and weeping willows that keep moaning and groaning about the Republican Party being ousted from Delaware County in Media should get on their knees and thank

God they’re living in the best country in the world, you know, and thank God for the Democratic takeover in Media. You know, John McClure and his War Board are done with. Thank God.

MERCY FOR ALL?

Just read your interesting article in on the oped page by Cynthia Parks, who claims that everyone should be have a second chance to be rehabilitated and be returned to their families and the communities after a term of incarceration. Just one question. Does she honestly believe Eric Chauvin deserves a second chance?

I’d like her to answer that publicly.

NO SHAME

I see “Billy-boy from

Broomall” and “Bobbyboy from Sharon Hill” or at it again. “Billy-boy” is blaming Donald Trump for the virus. I wonder if he blamed Barack Obama for the swine flu in 2009 that killed 15,000 people. I doubt it. “Bobbyboy” doesn’t like Trump attacking Joe Biden, but I guess it’s OK for Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and the liberals of this country to attack Trump. It’s hypocrites like you who make be glad I’m not a liberal.

THE INVISIBLE MAN

On March 18, Donald Trump declared himself a wartime president in the war against coronavirus, saying “that’s always the toughest enemy, the invisible enemy.” It was apparently too tough for Trump, who now fights on the side of the virus. Without a vaccine, beating COVID-19 will require people wearing masks, social distancing and a lot more testing. Trump is fighting against all of these measures, refusing to wear a mask and mocking people who do, organizing crowded rallies, and telling his people to “slow the testing down.” Trump is a wartime president helping the enemy kill Americans. Republicans need to stop supporting this traitor.

IF OBAMA DID IT ...

Trump holds a rally in Oklahoma, mask optional. Goes on his usual rants and whining, also sans mask. Minuscule attendees are required to sign a waiver absolving Trump of any responsibility should anyone become ill. He needs the fawning and nauseating applause so badly he’s willing to risk lives. Trump fanatics, do you not see a major issue here? Is there no tipping point? I’d love your reactions had Obama (or anyone with a “D” after their name) perpetrated a shred of what Trump has done.

WISH US LUCK

This is to all the readers of the Times. Now that Pennsylvania has gone green let’s see if we can be the model state by wearing our masks and practicing social distancing so people can say, look Pennsylvania went green and they have not had a huge spike in the virus. Good luck.
