God can use ordinary people for extraordinary work

How do we accomplish tasks that are too difficult for us to do alone? We believe and trust in God to provide the means, for if God calls us to it, He will make it possible.

In the Bible, as Moses approached the burning bush, God called to him, “Moses, Moses. Put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.”

The ground was holy because the presence of

God was there.

And God instructed, “I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.” (Exodus Chapter 3)

“Who am I, Lord?” asked Moses, “that you would use me?”

And then Moses said unto the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.” Continuing the Lord spoke, “Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.” (Exodus, Chapter 4)

“I will be with you, Moses,” God promised.

When we walk in obedience and follow God’s lead, doors will swing open that were once closed shut, people will astonishingly show up to help us, circumstances will transform miraculously in our favor, and as we look back we will know that without a doubt it was God’s divine hand.

For when we seek God’s will for our life, miracles will happen.

God created you, He knows all about you and when He gives you an assignment, He will provide the resources and strength you need. There are no obstacles that can stop you, nor any disadvantage that can hold you back, because He has equipped you with everything you require to succeed.

There will always be critics and detractors who will try to steer us off course, but what we believe about ourselves is most important. We set the limits for our future, and with God as our partner, we can bring our dreams to pass. So, let us get enthused about life again, overflowing with vitality and purpose, following our heart and believing in our abilities.

When we face set-backs or difficulties, press on, never quit! We all have something valuable to do, so let’s then be up and doing, realizing that stumbling blocks can be stepping stones advancing us to the next level, and pushing us to our divine destiny.

If God is for us, nothing can be against us, for He is well able to see us through whatever we may be facing.

Maybe we have been through trials that tested our self-worth to the maximum and that left us feeling of absolutely no value. And because of that, we think God cannot use us because of self-imposed limitations.

Have you been told it is too late to achieve your goals? Grandma Moses, an American folk artist, began her painting career in her 70s and was still painting at 100 years old.

So, you say you do not have the finances to make your God-given dream a reality? Mother Angelica founded Eternal Word Television Network with just $200, which now reaches more than 100 million viewers countries around the world.

Did you encounter some failures? Thomas Edison failed with over 300 experiments before he discovered the right type of filament for the electric light bulb.

Do you feel you have physical imitations? Beethoven, who was deaf, continued to compose masterpieces, conduct and perform, as he heard within himself some of the greatest music the world has ever known.

Did you have a devastating situation transpire in your life? Nelson Mandela emerged from 27 years of imprisonment. But his outstanding compassion and humanity shone as brightly as when he went in, enduring adversity with purpose and determination.

Have you experienced overwhelming setbacks? Abraham Lincoln became the 16th President of the United States after countless personal tragedies and failures.

These individuals stepped out in faith and overcame their challenges. And as we go forth serving others, we will see our gifts begin to grow, for inspiration and creativity come when we are full of desire to enrich someone else’s life. Heaven-sent strength and the touch of the supreme Creator is given to those with such a desire.

Each one of us has a special role in God’s plan and a great purpose to fulfill. Therefore, let us always remember how very special we are, as there is no one else like you.

Therefore, if you ask yourself, as Moses did, “Who am I?” allow me to remind you: “You are a child of God,” “Your value is beyond measure,” “You are capable and significant,” “You deserve the best,” “God delights in you.” And today, “Someone is waiting for and needs to receive a sign of self-worth from you.”

Remember, God loves you with a love that extends far beyond any human love. And He can use anyone who is willing, as we let Him lead the way.
