How to get around Delco’s roads this week

The Pennsylvan­ia Department of Transporta­tion is planning lane restrictio­ns in Radnor and Haverford this week for resurfacin­g operations.

The schedule is:

• Monday, July 6, through Friday July

10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., lane restrictio­ns are scheduled on Conestoga Road between Spring Mill Road & Hardwicke Lane in Radnor Township for milling operations; and

• Tuesday, July 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., lane restrictio­ns are scheduled on East Eagle Road/Drexel Avenue between U.S.

1 (Township Line Road) and Earlington Road in Haverford Township for high friction surface treatment.

Aqua Pennsylvan­ia is also planning weekday lane restrictio­ns with flagging on two state highways next week, from

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility maintenanc­e. The work schedule is:

• Monday, July 6, through Friday, July

31, on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Media Line Road and Route 320 (Sproul Road) in Marple Township for water main extension; and

• Tuesday, July 7, through Thursday, July 9, on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Alice Grim Boulevard and Boot Road in Newtown Township, for water main installati­on

Single lane closures will be in place on eastbound or westbound Route 291 (Governor Printz Boulevard) between Stevens Drive and Bartram Avenue/Scott Way in Tinicum on Monday, July 6, through Thursday, July 9, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning for drilling and boring operations.

PECO Energy is also planning utility work next week in Upper Darby and Radnor.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, July 6, through Friday, July

10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Lynn Boulevard and U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) in Upper Darby; and

• Tuesday, July 7, through Friday, July

31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Route 320 (Sproul Road) between Godfrey Road and Clyde Road in Radnor.
