How to get around Delco’s roads this week
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is planning lane restrictions in Radnor and Haverford this week for resurfacing operations.
The schedule is:
• Monday, July 6, through Friday July
10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., lane restrictions are scheduled on Conestoga Road between Spring Mill Road & Hardwicke Lane in Radnor Township for milling operations; and
• Tuesday, July 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., lane restrictions are scheduled on East Eagle Road/Drexel Avenue between U.S.
1 (Township Line Road) and Earlington Road in Haverford Township for high friction surface treatment.
Aqua Pennsylvania is also planning weekday lane restrictions with flagging on two state highways next week, from
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility maintenance. The work schedule is:
• Monday, July 6, through Friday, July
31, on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Media Line Road and Route 320 (Sproul Road) in Marple Township for water main extension; and
• Tuesday, July 7, through Thursday, July 9, on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Alice Grim Boulevard and Boot Road in Newtown Township, for water main installation

Single lane closures will be in place on eastbound or westbound Route 291 (Governor Printz Boulevard) between Stevens Drive and Bartram Avenue/Scott Way in Tinicum on Monday, July 6, through Thursday, July 9, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning for drilling and boring operations.

PECO Energy is also planning utility work next week in Upper Darby and Radnor.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, July 6, through Friday, July
10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Lynn Boulevard and U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) in Upper Darby; and
• Tuesday, July 7, through Friday, July
31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Route 320 (Sproul Road) between Godfrey Road and Clyde Road in Radnor.
