CENTER VALLEY, PA. » The following local students made the Dean’s List for the Spring 2020 session at DeSales University. To qualify for Dean’s List, a student must have a minimum 3.50 GPA on no fewer than 12 credit hours.

SCRANTON » Matthew Mitnick of Chadds Ford was among the 12 members of The University of Scranton’s class of 2020, along with graduates from King’s College, Misericordia University and Wilkes University, who were commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army during a virtual ceremony held on May 30. Mitnick was among University of Scranton’s Undergraduate Class of 2020. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
• Elizabeth Kugler of Springfield earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Scranton.
• Kathryn Donnelly of Havertown was among 39 members of The University of Scranton’s class of 2020 who graduated from its Special Jesuit Liberal Arts Honors Program (SJLA), which is one of Scranton’s programs of excellence. Students in SJLA pursue a rigorous education designed to develop enhanced writing, oral and criticalthinking skills through specially designed courses in philosophy, theology and literature. Donnelly majored in neuroscience and philosophy .Donnelly was also a Presidential Scholar at the University.

BUFFALO, N.Y. » Evelyn Anderson, of Upper Darby, is one of more than 1300 Canisius College students named to the spring 2020 Dean’s List or Merit List. Anderson is a member of the Canisius Class of 2023 and pursuing a degree in Mathematics.
