WATERVILLE, MAINE » Area residents graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, on May 24 as part of the Class of 2020. They were among the 480 seniors who received a bachelor of arts degree. Graduates include Ryan Conway of Bryn Mawr, who majored in global studies and attended Haverford School. Conway is the son of Craig and Kristin Conway of Bryn Mawr; and William Phillips of Wayne, who majored in economics with a concentration in financial markets and government and attended Episcopal Academy. Phillips is the son of William and Margaret Phillips of Wayne.

More than 5,700 University of Iowa undergraduate, graduate, and professional students graduated this spring under extraordinary circumstances. Among the Class of

2020 is Lance Bennett of Folcroft, who graduated with a

Master of Arts in Communication Studies.

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. » The

90-minute event, “Honoring U: A Tribute to the Class of

2020,” premiered on YouTube and Facebook. It featured the conferral of degrees on the

477 members of the Union College Class of 2020 by President David Harris. These graduates include Alexander Boris, of Haverford Township who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Economics and Samuel Veith, of Drexel Hill, who graduated with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

Moravian College
