Here are some events planned for this weekend around the region:
• SoulJoel’s Summer Comedy Festival presents Jimmy Schubert on Friday, Pete Dominick on Saturday and Sister Mary Pat on Sunday at its amphitheater behind the comedy club in Royersford. All shows start at 6 p.m. and are socially distanced and bring-your-own food, drinks, tents and chairs. Tickets are $20 at souljoels comedyclub.nightout.com.
• The Drive-In Movie Night at Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show Grounds, Glenmoore, presents “Jurassic Park” on Friday and “Jumanji: The Next Level” on Saturday. Gates
open at 7 and the movies start at dusk. Yellow Springs Catering will be on hand providing food and beverages. Tickets are $25 per car at brownpapertickets.com.
• The Pop-Up Cinema at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, Oaks, is showing “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” on Thursday, “Space Jam” on Friday, “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” on Saturday and “Ghostbusters” on Sunday. All shows start at 9 p.m. Gates open at 7:30. You are welcome to bring your own chairs to sit directly outside of the vehicle you arrived in. Movies will play rain or shine. There are onsite concessions and restrooms. Tickets cost $25 per vehicle

• The Tailgate Takeout Series at 118 North, Wayne,
presents The Quixote Project on Thursday, Sonni Sunshine on Friday, Not
Tuna on Saturday and Christina Brennan on Sunday.
The performers play out the restaurant’s bay windows starting at 6 p.m. Food and cocktails to go are available by calling 610-971-2628.
• The Uptown Band will perform an open-air concert Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. at Truck N Brew at Willow Glen Park, Sinking Spring. Doors open at 5, and food trucks will be on hand from
5 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are

• Reading Civic Theatre presents “A Celebration of Music in Our Lives” on Sunday at 2 p.m. in Alsace Lutheran Church, 2201 Kutztown Road, Reading. The performers will be singing numbers from Broadway. A free-will donation will be requested. Masks required.
