$10,000 REWARD
Info sought on man slain on I-95 after getting a flat:
A reward of $10,000 is now being offered for information regarding the murder of a Philadelphia man who was shot to death after his car got a flat tire on I-95 in Chester Township.
On Octo. 18, 2019, at approximately 9:28 p.m., troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police, Media Barracks, responded to the area of I-95 southbound at Exit 4, Chester Township for a report of a body in the grassy median that separates the highway from the exit to the Commodore Barry Bridge. Upon arrival, troopers discovered an African-American man deceased in the median. It was determined the victim sustained gunshot wounds to the back of his head.
He was identified as 33-year-old Naython C. Brown of Philadelphia.
During preliminary investigation it was discovered the victim was operating a white Chevrolet Monte Caro southbound on I-95 from Philadelphia to Chester City. While en route to Chester City, the victim’s vehicle became disabled due to a flat tire. At some point while waiting for assistance, the victim was shot and killed.
