Wellington at Hershey’s Mill residents profiled
Wellington at Hershey’s Mill
Jean Moran has been a resident of Wellington at Hershey’s Mill, East Goshen Township, Chester County, for the past seven. She’ll be 93 years old in December and still finds time to exercise every day. Jean loves most of the exercise programs at Wellington, but her favorite is the stretching routine.
Throughout her life she’s tried to stay active by eating well, playing softball with her kids when they were young and taking long walks. Jean also takes advantage of the indoor swimming pool at Wellington three days a week and looks forward to the pool reopen
ing soon.
Peggy Mueller
Peggy has been a Wellington resident for the last year and a half and just had her 86th trip around the sun t h i s month.
Peggy is the perfect resident to represent actively aging week: she exercises and eats well every day and has always tried to lead a healthy lifestyle.
In her younger days she used to spend summers in Strathmere, N.J., swimming in the bay and walking along the beach. She also played basketball in high school. Now, Peggy enjoys the exercise programming at Wellington; she likes Tai Chi, Stretch & Strength and Zumba.
Peggy doesn’t eat a
lot of sweets; one dessert will last her a few days. We wish Peggy many more active days here at Wellington.
