In a Media Bowl matchup, there was no stopping Ellie Fisher Wednesday night.

Fisher dominated for Strath Haven, supplying 21 kills and 14 digs plus four aces as the Panthers swept Penncrest, 3-0, in Central League volleyball action.

Olivia Dumont had a massive contributi­on with 17 assists, 11 kills and eight digs for Haven, which won 25-21, 25-7 and 25-13. Gabby Zweier supplied 16 assists, Emily McGinn provided eight kills and Megan Prendergas­t added 19 digs for the Panthers.

Madison Marinelli led Penncrest with 10 digs. Liz Kurcon (three aces, seven digs) and Ashley Rogers (six digs) had five kills apiece. LOWER MERION 3, GARNET VALLEY 2 » Maddie Wood and Caitlyn Hagerty served up eight aces each, but the Jaguars lost a five-set battle.

Hagerty led the attack with 10 kills, followed by Marypearl Tienabeso with eight and Annie Bechtold with seven. Tienabaso added five blocks. Wood dished 38 assists. The Aces prevailed,

25-8 victory. Hannah Breslin dished 11 assists.

Josie Darrah led Radnor with five kills, six digs and two blocks.

CONESTOGA 3, RIDLEY 1» Makenzie Griffith came up with 25 digs, but the Green Raiders faded late, 20-25, 25

19, 13-25, 24-26. Anna Borcky supplied nine kills and two blocks, Jackie Borcky put down four blocks and Abi Herrin (seven kills, four blocks, 10 digs) had a solid day.

SUNVALLEY3,OXFORD0» Kylie Shetter was a defensive demon with 26 digs to pace a 25-18, 25-12, 25-15 sweep for the Vanguards.

Kristine Guenther led the attack with 10 kills. Jordan Thompson and Laura Stritzinge­r put up four blocks each, and Jenna Jones handed out

12 asssits.

Field Hockey

Tina Rawa scored four consecutiv­e goals in the fourth quarter to help Garnet Valley pull away from a game Lower Merion side, 9-2, in Central League action.

Rawa also set up Sophie Easter’s opener. Hannah Long scored twice, and Alyssa Smith had a goal and an assist for GV (3-0, 3-0).

Grace O’Connor scored both goals for Lower Merion. MARPLE NEWTOWN 9, UPPER DARBY 0 » Kylie Gioia scored three times in the first half as the Tigers led 6-0 at the break and didn’t look back.

Emily Reynolds paired her goal with three assists. Mackenzie Smith also scored twice for the Tigers. CONESTOGA9,RIDLEY0» The Pioneers scored seven times in the second half, led by four goals and an assist by Carly Hynd. Caroline Wisch added two goals and an assist, and Amanda Foster and Kate Galica had a goal and two assists each. Ridley goalie Jordan Polillo battled valiantly in the cage with 15 saves.

In nonleague action: ARCHBISHOP CARROLL 2, PHOENIXVIL­LE 1» Nicole Pawelec turned in a feed from Karli Dougherty in overtime to lead the Patriots to a victory. Courtney Keith made eight saves for Carroll. Dougherty had scored in the second half to cancel out Nicole Thompson’s opening goal.

In the Catholic Academies League:

Hailey Silva scored twice, and Sacred Heart tallied a pair of fourth-quarter goals to pull away late. Mary Lauren Franz and Caroline Fleming also scored for the Lions.

Golf

Michael Walz’s 36 at Cobbs Creek Golf Club’s Olde Course led Conestoga to a 194-206 win over Haverford, with Pioneers claiming the Central League big school title with a 5-0 regular-season record.

Sachin Blake and Graham Blatchford added 38s for the Pioneers.

Senior Riley Quartermai­n paced the Fords with a 38. Liam Hempel checked in with a 40.

Girls Soccer

Emily Diautolo snuck into a sliver of space in the box and toe-poked home a shot in the second overtime period Monday to lead Radnor to a 2-1 win over Strath Haven.

Tori DiCarlo, who supplied the throw-in flicked on for Diautolo’s goal, scored in regulation.

RIDLEY 2, SPRINGFIEL­D 0 » Shannen Hinchey made seven saves to post the shutout and back up first-half goals by Jackie Deisler and Adria Kitzinger late Tuesday.

Emily Boyer made eight saves for the Cougars.

Boys Soccer

Justin Brennan set up a pair of goals as Marple Newtown cruised to a 3-0 win over Garnet Valley late Tuesday.

Justin DiBona, Henry Gjergo and Fidel Inglis all found the back of the net for the Tigers. Ryan Straub kept the clean sheet in net.
