Generous donors keep giving to Christmas Fund
Goal: $50,000
Given today: $ 1,876.00 Given to date: $29,467.00
CHESTER » Another $1,876 from 18 donors arrived Christmas Day at the Salvation Army Chester Corps to support the Merry Christmas Fund. Joanna and Raymond Yantosh of Brookhaven and an anonymous contributor both led the day’s donations with
$300 each.
The fund sits just under
$30,000 as it enters its final week. Aqua America is expected to deliver a $10,000 check on Monday which would push the total to inches from the 80% mark. The potential $39,467 total would be the closest to the
$50,000 goal since 2012’s closing figure of $48,242.
