Barbara Ann Grawl

-

Barbara Ann Grawl, age 78, of Aston, Pennsylvania went home to the Lord on December 21, 2020. God guided his faithful daughter home by the light of the Christmas Star, such a special night since this season was her favorite time of the year. She was an amazing, kind, and loving woman who was devoted to her family. Barbara was a devout person of faith and lived as a godly example to all who were blessed to know her. She expertly raised 10 children, welcomed 31 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and countless others into her life. Barbara was active at church and in her children and grandchildren’s lives. She was quick to lend a hand or volunteer to help others and was the epitome of selfless love. Barbara enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, baking, and time with her family. After her children were grown, she worked for many years in medical billing before retiring.

This woman of excellence will be deeply missed. Barbara leaves a legacy of love and service and the example to be grateful and forgiving. Welcomed into heaven by the Lord and Savior she longed to meet, she will be richly rewarded in her heavenly home. “She is clothed with strength and dignity (including her famous white shoes), she speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue… her children arise and call her blessed…a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.” -Excepts from Proverbs 31

Barbara is survived by her children: John T. Grawl Jr. (Mary), Daniel Grawl (Danielle), Denise Feeley, Kathryn Reneski (Mark), Donna Pellak, Robert Grawl (Sally), Joseph Grawl (Elizabeth), Patricia Ramsey (Christopher), Christine Foster (Charles), and Paul John (Gabriella); her sisters-in-law, Margaret Ryan, Rita Grawl, and Jane Grawl ; 31 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; her niece, Maureen Grill; and a host of extended family and friends.
