ALL THE SAME

Conservatives like Christine Flowers were silent when it came to Donald Trump’s abuse of social media, his behavior as president and his attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election. But now conservatives whine because he is banned from social media and they oppose Neera Tandem because she said bad things about conservatives. When it comes to Ms. Flowers, it is all about politics. If you are a Republican/conservative you get a free pass. At the end of the day, Ms. Flowers and her fellow conservatives are no better than the left that she claims to despise.

LONG DRIVE WAS WORTH IT

On Saturday, my daughter drove me to a Rite Aid in Quarryville, Pa., so I could get the COVID vaccine. Delco is so densely populated and so short in vaccine. This was the only place I could get an online appointment. So we drive 55 miles each way in dense fog. There were three other senior citizens there. No lines and no waiting. The pharmacist gave the injection and I sat for 15 minutes then we left for home. It was absolutely worth the drive. The only limitation is you can’t go out of state for vaccine. Peace of mind is priceless. ANNA FROM NORWOOD

DESPERATE FOR VACCINE

Why are there not enough sites open to get the vaccine? Philadelphia is set up but I have been online trying and trying to get an appointment anywhere. It is very frustrating. There are people I work with who have family members working the medical field who have gotten the shot through their family member. How is that fair to the rest of us? I am over 65, work in a grocery store have worked through and am still working through this epidemic and do not know who I am coming in contact with every day -- these people are not distancing themselves from the workers and not adhering to the guidelines, so I am afraid every day. I work a market and you would think they would vaccinate us but they took our pharmacy out in order to sell beer and wine. Does that make sense? So as a worker on the front line because without us the store would be open, why can we not get the vaccination? Why are there no sites for us to go to?

SPEAK UP

To the people in Delco tired of these reruns, hearing about people like Joe Namath the pro football player. Why would he need 995 Life Insurance at all? Tom Selleck, actor producer and author, why would he need a reverse mortgage and 995 Insurance? They’re both very popular and talented and rich men. They do not need these reverse mortgages and insurance 995. Thank you.

GO GRANNY

POWER LESS

Well, what are the Democrats going to do with all these electric cars? It ain’t paying any gas tax to fix the roads and bridges. They haven’t come up with an answer for that yet. But they’re getting a free ride. Then what are they going down the power grid when they sent start shutting down all these coal-fired plants and they start shutting down all the oil plants and the nuclear plants in the next two years? Where they going to get the electricity for the electric cars and how we going to get heat and cooking in our homes?

WE NEED VACCINES

I agree with “Over 65 and Waiting” and “Chris from Lester” in today’s Sound Off. I am 85 with a compromised medical situation and I’m still waiting for my COVID vaccine. I’m on the list at CrozerKeystone, but I understand they have a list that is 1,000 or more names long. When are we going to get the COVID vaccine here in Delaware County? It’s time somebody stepped up to the plate and demanded we get the vaccine here in Delaware County. Why is the county council sitting on their butts?

GET WITH IT, JOE

Come on, man. Come on, man. Hey President Biden, you just eliminated 12,000 good-paying union jobs with the cancellation of the XL pipeline. This decision of yours will continue to injure the middle class of this country. You you also have by your statements influenced the formation of caravans traveling to our southern border. Your actions have caused an issue to develop that should not even be occurring.
