Anthony R. Liott, Jr., age 78, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ. Born in Chester, PA, Tony was raised in Boothwyn, PA and had lived in Wilmington DE, Palm Beach FL and San Francisco CA for many years before moving to Brick less than a year ago.

After going to Archmere Academy and St. James High School, Mr. Liott proudly served in the United States Navy where he worked in Naval Intelligen­ce. He then attended Cheyney College. Most of his career was spent in Food and Bar Service, owning and/or managing establishm­ents in Delaware, Florida and California. Some highlights: being on staff at one of the Washington D.C. Inaugural Balls for Jimmy Carter and helping to host a private party for Frank Sinatra.

Tony was predecease­d by his parents Anthony R. Liott, Sr. and Jennie Doall Liott. Surviving are his sister, Joyce Giampalmi and her husband, Jack; his children, Anthony, Laura and Joseph; and his four grandchild­ren. He is also survived by his nephew Jack and many beloved cousins. Family was so important to Tony.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March

12, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. William the Abbot RC Church in Howell, NJ. If you plan on attending, please wear a mask and practice social distancing. The Mass will be live-streamed through the website www.stwilliamt­heabbot.com. Burial arrangemen­ts in Pennsylvan­ia will be scheduled in the future.
