Four people in the vicinity of Eighth and Butler streets were arraigned in Police Court today charged with allowing their goats to run at large in the community, destroying shrubbery, trees and flowers. It was disclosed that there are eight goats with separate owners that have been giving the residents so much trouble recently. Tony Carrazi, 840 W. Sixth St., one of the defendants, admitted that he had a goat, but said he always kept it tied in his yard. He was discharged. Three other West Sixth Street men also claimed that the “run-around-goats” didn’t belong to them, but each was fined $1. C.H. Jackson, of Eighth and Butler streets, testified against the nuisance.
