FREIND NAILED IT

You are right on, Mr. Freind. Outsiders have no business trying to influence the results of the elected officials and the laws they have legally voted upon. And if you need a picture ID to obtain a COVID vaccine or to buy cold medicine, then why should you not be required to have a picture ID to vote.

PAT FROM RIDLEY PARK

PARTY OF FEAR

Democrats want to keep this virus in the news and keep telling people how bad it is. They don’t want to report any good news about it. They’ll try to keep people afraid and in their homes. Democrats want people to depend on the government for everything -- socialism. The American people better wake up and see how dangerous the Democrats are. They are more dangerous than the virus. Their motto is if at first you don’t succeed, lie, lie again.

WHO WILL BE NEXT?

The editorial “Don’t sideline great authors of the past” said it all. Abolishing some of Dr. Seuss’ books, because it’s not politically correct today is absurd. As the editorial pointed out, what about the writings of Ernest Hemingway, Leo Tolstoy and Mark Twain?

“If we want to be honest about our past, we have to look at it as it was. All of it.” We simply cannot eradicate history, whether it was good or not so good, by obliterating books, names and monuments. These books were written, names were given and monuments were erected when political correctness wasn’t in place. We should not be offended for every little thing. This political correctness is going too far and book publishers, manufacturers and sculptors should not keep obliging to it. That’s one way to put a stop to this nonsense

NO BIG DEAL

As a registered Democrat for more than two decades I must admit I do not see why voter identification is an a problem. We need licenses and permits to drive, own fire arms, and hold certain positions in our country. I am perplexed at why this has become a blue vs. red thing. We need to meet in the middle somewhere!

DEM IN DELCO

THE GREAT ONE

On this date in 1974 Hank Aaron hit his 715th htone run off the Los Angeles Dodger pitcher Downing. That broke the record set by The Babe.

For those hooting and hollering about politics and baseball, take a moment and remember what a refined gentleman Aaron was.

DIAMOND JIM IN DARBY

A SCANDAL IN AMERICA

It’s a disgrace. I just saw on TV about how much these big CEOs make in these big corporate American companies and the working man who does most all the work and gets nothing. They don’t even get a raise. The working man better wise up in this country because I’ll tell you something, these people in corporate America are getting away with murder with how they’re treating the working man and the poor man not giving him a raise. Now they don’t have a decent wage to live on. And you know who you can thank for that, the Republican Party -- they’re all behind it.

WHAT CREEPS

It’s obvious that the people who stole the Rose Valley icons are nothing but disgusting low-life scumbags and I doubt that they’re going to be able get these things back because these creeps probably sold those things for scrap metal.

LIARS AND CHEATS

Missouri is the latest Republican-controlled state this going to enact restrictive voting laws, showing once again to Republicans realize they can’t win elections fairly. So they have to rig the elections in their favor. It’s horrible and it’s disgusting but it’s the Republican Party today because Republican voters have no problem with these restrictive voting laws being passed because they don’t care about them either. All they care about is having Republicans win elections. These people are just horrible, horrible excuses for human beings.

THE HORROR

I can’t believe what’s going on today. This would never have happened when I was growing up. Why won’t anybody do something? Things are out of control.
