Leveweaver has lots of jump, leading Haverford to victory

Aubrey Leveweaver won the 300 hurdles in 50.55 seconds and high jump, clearing at four feet, 10 inches, to pace Haverford past Garnet Valley (83-67), Springfiel­d (78-68) and Marple Newtown (118-24) on Wednesday.

Morgan Elliott (200), Lauren McAdams (1,600), Shannon Barycki (3,200) and Natalie DeFruscio (javelin) also were individual winners for Haverford.

Jordyn Chisholm (100 hurdles) and Beth Schearer (400) earned gold medals as Springfiel­d topped Harriton (106.5-33.5) and Upper Darby (86.5-63.5).

Garnet Valley defeated Upper Darby (85.5-63.5) while the Royals topped the Rams (83.5-62.5). Lindsey Chapman won the pole vault to lead the Jaguars.

Alice Etienne (long jump), Destiny Cofield (triple jump) and Kalila Poindexter (shot put) were individual winners for Upper Darby, which beat Marple Newtown (9846). Milan Ramey (100) and Ariel

Katz (800) were the individual winners for Harriton, which defeated Marple Newtown (91-41).

STRATH HAVEN SWEEPS » Tegan Sydnor won three events and Jazzy Harper had two wins as the Panthers extended their dual meet winning streak to 105 with victories over Penncrest (118-32), Radnor (124-26) and Ridley (125.5-23.5)

Sydnor was the 100-meter dash (13.39) and the 100- (16.17) and the 300-meter hurdles (48.34) winner. Harper took first in the long jump (15-0¼) and triple jump (31-9½). Alexa Brown won the shot put (36-9) and Olivia Dumont captured the javelin (104-6) for the Panthers.

Among the other individual winners were Ridley’s Emma Winward (100), Kelsie Robinson (400) of Penncrest and Sophia Hill (pole vault) from Radnor.

Boys Track

Gavin Mogck, Daniel Munro,

Brian Loeper and Carson Steinbach were individual winners to lead Penncrest to wins over Lower Merion (85-65), Conestoga (120-30) and Strath Haven (105.5-43.5).

Mogck took first in the 3,200. Munro won the pole vault. Loeper captured the javelin and Steinbach took first in the long jump.

Strath Haven’s Enrico Faccio won both hurdles events, while Henry Miller of Conestoga crossed the finish line first in the 100 and 400. Ridley’s Kristian Praizner won the 100 and Max Dooley of Radnor captured the 1,600.

In team scoring, Ridley defeated Conestoga (94-51) and Strath Haven (71-66). Lower Merion defeated Radnor (86-63) and Ridley (105-42), while Radnor topped Conestoga (101-41) and Strath Haven (89-56).

THREE TEAMS SWEEP » Garnet Valley Marple Newtown and Springfiel­d recorded three wins each in the second Central

League meet of the season.

Nicholas Ha captured the high and triple jumps to lead the Jaguars over Harriton (108-41), Haverford (85-65) and Upper Darby (9654). Teammate Kevin Genthert was first in the javelin, and the Jaguars also won the 4 x 100-meter relay.

Marple Newtown’s Ethan Stourousky won both hurdles events to pace the Tigers past Haverford (87-63), Upper Darby (84-66) and Harriton (105-45). Teammate Justin Quinn took first in the discus.

Billy Zane (400), Adam Henry (800) and Bobby Longo (long jump) were the individual winners in Springfiel­d’s wins over Haverford (80-68), Upper Darby (99-50) and Harriton (102-38).

Anthony Lawson (1,600), Jackson Litz (pole vault) and Michael Powell (shot put) were individual winners for Haverford. Upper Darby’s George Okyne won the 200
