Delco’s Teachers of Excellence
The Franklin Mint Federal Credit Foundation will present the Parent in Education ceremony in virtual form at 7 p.m. April 22. Given the unprecedented nature of the academic year and the 2020 ceremony not being held, last year’s recipients of the Excellence in Teaching Award will be honored at this year alongside the 2021 All Delco Hi-Q Team.
“Once it became apparent that the celebration would have to wait another year, we decided to move the awards to 2021 with the hope that we could give these teachers their well-deserved recognition,” said Rick Durante, FMCU vice president and director of corporate social responsibility and government affairs. “We may even reach more attendees since everyone can watch in the comfort of their own homes.”
