KING OF THE LIARS

- Sound Off: Call 484-470-6442 or email newsroom@delcotimes.com THE SOUTHERNER ANGRY ON ACRES

To Sunday’s delusional fool who can’t move on from the election, who believes we’re all crazy and idiotic for thinking Trump was the worst president we ever had, and who implored us to check his record ... His record is 30,573 false or misleading claims during his four years in the White House, according to the Washington Post, and hundreds of thousands dead in the U.S. as a direct result of his mishandling of the pandemic. Comically, he made a lot of fun about Obama’s golf habit and promised he would be working so hard for us if elected that he wouldn’t have time to play golf. Then after being elected, this serial liar went on to visit his golf properties hundreds of times, costing us, the taxpayers, at least $150 million. Trump was the champ when it came to lying. That’s his record. He deserved to lose re-election. Get over it.

THAT’S WHY

The president wearing a mask in the cemetery because he had the press and secret service with him.

BACK TO THE GILDED AGE

It’s not surprising that the Republicans in the House and the Republicans in the Senate opposed the DemocraticHouse passed equal pay bills this week. This bill gives power to workers. And the last thing Republicans want is giving workers any power at all. If Republicans had their way unions would be outlawed and child labor laws would be repealed. The minimum wage, already a joke, would be eliminated and companies would be able to discipline and fire employees for whatever reason they wanted whether they were justified or not. And despite all this, there are millions of regular workers in this country who are still so stupid that they vote for the people that would do this.

HE WHO SHALL NOT BE NAMED

This is back to “Only in America.” “Mad as Hell on Manchester” will tell her I feel the same way she does about her president getting up there and lying to the people, saying he didn’t believe in fracking all his life. He said to the people the border is over jammed. I can’t stand say in his name or any other names or even looking at them so you could tell your president and you can tell yourself all the lies I want but President Trump, who was our best president we ever had besides Kennedy, Lincoln and Truman. Thank you. I’ll be happy as hell when we get rid of them in 2024 and get Trump back.

AND HERE WE ARE

Right. Now the Republican Party is the party of Trump. If you’ve noticed this Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has introduced a caucus that will be “America First.” This this is a white supremacy thing that goes back to Donald Trump’s birther problem with former President Barack Obama, who has twice as many smarts is Donald Trump ever had.

This is what we’re dealing with today.

BIDEN = RESPECT

I see in Sound Off that the half-witted piehole Republicans still put Joe Biden down. Well, I’ll tell you something -- Joe Biden’s a great man, a good man. He treats people with respect.

DO IT YOURSELF

This is for the person in Sunday’s Sound Off complaining about the lack of the old TV shows. He he or she is tired of the new ones. They have an antenna so they can watch TV with their mom. My suggestion is go to Walmart, Kmart, Target, one of those big box stores and get your basic DVD player. You can get one for under $40 and stock up on DVDs. A lot of the classics are available on DVD. If you can’t find them in the store order them through catalogs and online. I haven’t had television in years. I cut the cord in 2008. I have a shelf of DVD classic movies at rival anything Turner Classic Movie station would run. I have box sets of old TV show smash Abbott and Costello. You name it? I got it.

DONNIE’S BIG ONE

This is to “Surrounded by Idiots.” I think Donald Trump was not only the worst president but one of the worst human beings but while you’re at it and you’re making a list of all his accomplishments, don’t forget to add to that list of the insurrection on Jan. 6. That was another one of his accomplishments.
