Stand strong and end the curse of abortion

- Thomas Barrett, Aldan

To the Times:

We the people must stand up and fix this problem.

I have to speak my piece and so should all human beings, such as Christians, especially Catholics, actually anyone who has any kind of common sense, which is probably every person who enjoys life and respects other living being.

I ask the question of all you readers, would any of you just kill a person for being Black, red or any color, or kill anyone that speaks a language other than English for no other reason? I have not found anyone that would admit to just kill for skin color or language choice or for a personal or economic difference. No one — not for these reasons alone.

But that is what Planned Parenthood does. They have no regard for human life, they use two excuses, one is for economics and two there is no access to health care. But this is not true; In reality, they are doing it because they make money taking human lives.

I cannot speak for all abortions but I can count the one million that occur every year, more than 32,000-plus in Pennsylvania alone are largely just for the money. Since Roe v. Wade in 1973, more than 58 million innocent lives have been taken by abortion.

All people have a rule somewhere in their body that states something like “thou shall not kill.” This is the most important issue at this current time since every 20 minutes there are 30 innocents killed. How can we try to stand as a free country and keep funding abortions and especially for Planned Parenthood? If you keep supporting the people that are ensuring that these practices continue then you are a part of the crime. Supporting the elected people that promote these murders to continue makes you a part of the problem. You are guilty of participating in murder with the deliberate destruction of lives.

Babies are natural results of a natural act, usually of love, so don’t be encouraged by the evil and support the wrong people, get them out of office and keep them out of office.

We have to get our country back on the right road to being the great country it is meant to be and this is a good place to start. I received a lot of this data from National Records, newspaper articles, candidates’ speeches, and the Catholic Information Center.

Face the facts, this isn’t politics, if you don’t face these facts; we are doomed; you are doomed.

We as the people of a great nation must stop these actions. Remember that every year we wipe out what is equivalent to at least one city. Since we legalized abortion in 1973 we have claimed more lives than all the wars America has ever fought.

Just take the time to look around; at your family, friends, and neighbors and think about abortion taking any of these lives and see the void that would be in your life and in the world.

We have to fight — we must stay strong and we must pray often, repeatedly, habitually, and over and over again.
