Delco businesses network and learn at Chamber Business Expo
UPPER DARBY » The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce held its “B2B Rally For Business Expo” Tuesday at Drexelbrook Catering and Event Center. The event included speed networking, as well as a “Playbook for Success: Building a Loyal Fan Base” session with the communication and marketing specialists for the Philadelphia Eagles, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia Union and the Philadelphia 76ers. The Expo portion of the event provided an opportunity for businesses to set up booths to hand out information and talk to potential customers and provide resources for fellow businesses at the event. Vendors also handed out refreshments, small gifts and other samples.
“It’s really great to be back to an inperson event,” exclaimed Mary Milligan of Visit Delco, PA, as he promoted Delaware County tourism at the Business Rally and Expo. “You can just feel the excitement in the room as people are back to networking and meeting new people.” The Chamber was unable to hold the annual networking event during the pandemic.
Following the Expo, attendees were able to conclude their day and learn more valuable information at the “Powering Possibilities with Secure Intelligent Networks with Comcast Business” session and find out the winners of various raffles.
“We are so happy we were able to bring the Delaware County B2B Expo back in-person this year,” commented Trish McFarland, president of the Delaware County Chamber. “As we continue to advocate for economic stability and growth in our region, it is vital that we as a community come together to support our local businesses and nonprofits. Thank you to everyone who came out to showcase their products, network and #ShopDelco!”
