$433K distribute­d to Delco fire and EMS stations

State Sen. Tim Kearney on Wednesday announced $433,007 in grants for fire companies and emergency medical services in his 26th Senatorial District.

The grants were awarded by the Pennsylvan­ia State Fire Commission­er from the Fire Company and Emergency Medical Service Grant Program.

“These grants are an important investment in first responder and firefighti­ng services in our district,” Kearney said. “I’m proud to see these funds allocated to so many of our local fire and EMS companies that provide communitie­s with indispensa­ble services and support.”

A few entities received more than one grant. The distributi­on:

• Clifton Heights Fire Company, $25,000
