Eastern runs away from York in conference quarterfinals
Draig Cooley filled up the stat sheet, and Zubair Lee keyed a 14-2 run midway through the second half as Eastern pulled away for a 70-64 win over York in a MAC Commonwealth semifinal.
Cooley had a massive game, with 13 points, 15 rebounds, six assists and four blocks. Lee scored six of his nine points in the run that gave the Eagles (18-8) control. Kevin Reeves (Cardinal O’Hara) added 15 points in 16 minutes off the bench. Sam Gallardo and Jaron Fairweather scored 12 each.

Ella Gordon hit six 3-pointers in a 24-point effort as Cabrini handled Marywood, 80-58, in the Atlantic East quarterfinals Monday night.
Miranda Liebtag contributed 14 points, seven rebounds and five steals. Abby Paolini dished seven assists to go with her 13 points for the third-seeded Cavaliers (13-13).
