Reynolds’ 33 boost Saint Joe’s to win

Erik Reynolds II poured in 33 points as Saint Joseph’s broke a four-game losing streak with an 83-67 triumph over Richmond Wednesday night.

Lynn Greer III backed Reynolds with 20 points and three assists. Cameron Brown pitched in with 14 points for the Hawks (14-16, 8-10 Atlantic 10). PSU-GREATER ALLEGHENY 97, PSU-BRANDYWINE 94 » Michael Drew and Damon Gamble hit 3-pointers in a 8-1 run in overtime to send Greater Allegheny into the PSUAC championsh­ip game.

Bryce Phillips hit a jumper with 2:43 to play to put Greater Allegheny up for good. Drew and Gamble put the contest out of reach. Jeremiah Miller led Greater Allegheny with 26 points.

Bryce Barrouk tallied a game-high 28 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for Brandywine. Johnta Dunson chipped in with 19 points and Colin Hockenbroc­k added 15.

Women’s Basketball

Playing on the road didn’t bother New Jersey City Wednesday night in the quarterfin­al round of the ECAC Tournament.

The Gothic Knights scored 15 of the last 23 points to pull away for 66-59 victory over Neumann.

The late run broke a 51-51 tie and sent second-seeded NJCU into Saturday’s semifinals against the winner of the game between third-seeded

William Paterson and No. 6 John Jay. Jimmirah Johnson and Damaris Rodriguez led the winners with 14 points each.

Lauren Klieber topped Neumann with a game-high 27 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. Terea Hunt added 13 points three assists and four steals.

Tiarra East, Tarriyonn Gary and Brittany Garner combined for 51 points, 20 rebounds and six assists to help the Owls snap a six-game losing streak.

East finished with 21 points, six rebounds and two assists. Gary and Garner both scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Garner also had three assists.
