The film adaptation of “The Hunger Games” prequel — “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” — got its theatrical release this month.

In honor of the movie hitting theaters, a new study has revealed which states would do the best in the games and those that would, well, not.

OnlineCasinos.com — which describes itself as “the most trustworthy and reputable comparison site for real money online casinos on the market” — was the website behind this study, which was based on the survey results of over 2,000 people across the United States.

The questions included on the survey involved certain physical, survival and strategic skills, and how confident respondents were in each on a scale of 1 to 5.

Pennsylvania scored the 24th overall ranking as one of the “most likely” states to survive actual Hunger Games if they ever existed. Keystone

State residents seem particularly confident in their strategic prowess, with the average score in that skill set coming to a 3.3 out of 5.

Alas, someone from Pennsylvania apparently wouldn’t do so hot against those representing the top three states: Mississippi (third), Wisconsin (second) and Nevada (first).

“It turns out that Nevada has the most confidence in their skills, as they scored 2.5 (physical skills), 2.8 (survival skills), and 3.4 (strategic skills) across the board,” reads the report. “When it comes to the likes of making quick decisions, staying calm under pressure, and being a good judge of character — Nevada has it covered, as they averaged over 3.5 for all these skill sets.

“On the other hand, we wouldn’t put our trust in their ability in martial arts, rope courses, or spear throwing as they scored below 2.3 in these more physical areas.”

But hey, Pennsylvania, take comfort in the fact that 24th is way better than coming in last as Indiana did.
