ELUDING POLICE » At 5:32 p.m., officers observed Thomas R. Flood, 28, an individual known to them to have numerous outstanding warrants, riding his enduro-style motorcycle south on Market Street toward the Market Street Bridge. Officers in a marked patrol vehicle attempted to initiate a traffic stop. Flood appeared to stop and pulled into a parking lot in the 1000 block of Market Street in Marcus Hook. Flood, wearing a partially open face helmet, was easily identifiable to officers as he looked directly at them, police said, but he did not follow the officer’s numerous orders to turn off the motorcycle.

Flood, who was blocked in by the patrol vehicle, opted to squeeze between the building and another parked vehicle, riding over parking stops, and even getting stuck on one momentarily. Officers attempted to grab him but he was able to break free, and drove along the sidewalk, with disregard to any pedestrians and re-entered the road. He then attempted to elude another marked patrol vehicle and sped north on Market Street. Officers discontinued the attempt to stop him, due to his reckless and dangerous riding as he traveled into a more populated area. A check of his residence, and areas around his residence were unsuccessful. A warrant was approved for his arrest.

ACTIVE WARRANT » About 8:30 p.m. officers assigned to an anticrime detail in the vicinity of the Family Dollar in the 1500 block of Market Street, recognized Scott Russell, 24, who is known to have multiple active arrest warrants. Officers took him into custody without incident. He was transferred to the Chester County Prison and committed on his parole violation warrant. There, Russell will await extradition to Schuylkill County for a failure-toappear warrant.

The victim, who was in possession of an active protectionfrom-abuse order reported that Merritt Corydon, 43, allegedly pulled up in front of her residence in a black pickup truck, stopped and made the comment, “You think I’m playing?” and cocked a firearm. On April 10, Croydon turned himself in to police.
