It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth Kirlin (nee Eaves) on Friday, April 12th in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Mary 61 is survived by her loving and devoted husband Michael J. Kirlin, of Scottsdale, her beloved mother Joan Eaves (nee Mathers), and her sister Francine Eaves-Ranft (John). She is predecease­d by her father Francis H. Eaves (Frank) of West Chester, PA.

MaryBeth was raised in Paoli, PA, and attended St. Norbert’s Catholic Elementary School and Mount Saint Joseph’s Academy in Flourtown, PA. She graduated from Hood College in Frederick. MD in 1984. Upon graduation, she started her career with Coopers & Lybrand in Atlanta, GA. She returned to Pennsylvan­ia and had a successful career in employee benefits culminatin­g in her dream job with Boeing Corporatio­n in Mesa, Arizona.

MaryBeth met Michael in November of 2010, on eHarmony, she often said he just kept calling. She married the love of her life Michael on March 19, 2022. Mary was a very generous person with her time and she made friends everywhere she went

Mary loved to swim. She was a regular at the cactus pool in Scottsdale where she swam three times a week. Mary was above all, a Philly girl, everywhere she travelled she took a piece of Philadelph­ia with her.

Mary was a great partner in life with Michael and they shared a common fundamenta­l belief in God and their faith grew stronger in the last 4 years. The couple spent 14 wonderful years together and were truly best friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bernard’s of Clairvaux Catholic Church, Scottsdale, AZ. on Saturday April 20th at 10:30 AM with a viewing at 10:00 AM for family and friends.

There will also be A Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday April 27th at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Glen Mills, PA at 10:30 AM with a viewing at 9:30 AM for family and friends with Burial following in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfiel­d, PA.
