MONCO names new management team

MONCO Enterprise­s, a non-profit organizati­on with more than 47 years of serving adults with developmen­tal disabiliti­es in the Dayton area, has announced a new executive management team, and added two new members to its Board of Trustees. The Board recently named

Phil Hartje as Chief Executive Officer. Hartje is a native of the Dayton area, and has a long history of leadership, including 19 years as MONCO’s general manager from 1994-2013. He will focus on working with local employers to utilize MONCO services for their employment needs.

MONCO also announced the addition of Deborah

Willen as Director of Operations. Willen’s most recent experience was with a statewide provider of services for adults with developmen­tal disabiliti­es. She brings to MONCO over 18 years of experience in management and quality assurance. New MONCO board members include Jim Brown and Josh Ison. Brown is the President/Founder of Jim Brown Consulting, LLC, which assists athletes to succeed in sports and life by developing interperso­nal skills. Brown holds his licensure in social work and has more than 20 years’ experience serving at-risk youth.

Ison, current Director of Align Home Health, has served in many capacities during his career, and has a strong background in product and research engineerin­g. Ison earned his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineerin­g from Carnegie Mellon University.
