The Flash, 8 PM on Ch. 26:

Continuing a crossover storyline that started on “Supergirl,” Barry (Grant Gustin) and his team are taken aback when Mon-El and Hank Henshaw (guest stars Chris Wood and David Harewood) appear on their Earth bearing a comatose Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) after the Music Meister’s (guest star Darren Criss) attack on her in the new “Duet.” Before the Star Labs crew can revive her, though, the villain knocks out The Flash, sending Barry and Kara into another reality where song and dance hold the keys to escape.

Trial & Error, 9 PM on Ch. 2 and Ch. 5:

After failing to come up with a match for the DNA found in Larry’s (John Lithgow) bedroom, Josh (Nicholas D’Agosto) and his team catch a lucky break when they find a “sex print” on the wall, leading them to a shocking new suspect in the new episode “The Other Man.” Unfortunat­ely, Josh also inadverten­tly slips up and gives a piece of damning evidence to the prosecutio­n. Sherri Shepherd, Jayma Mays and Krysta Rodriguez also star. Another new episode immediatel­y follows.

Cosplay Melee, 10 PM on SYFY:

Yvette Nicole Brown (“Community”) is host for this new weekly reality competitio­n series, tied to the popular fan phenomenon in which otherwise ordinary folks go to elaborate lengths to take on the identity of a favorite character. Each episode finds four contestant­s competing to create full costumes and compelling back stories for their characters of choice; the winner receives $10,000. In the series premiere, the cosplayers are tasked with creating an original character inspired by their favorite sci-fi space opera
