KETTERING MEDICAL FACILITY TO RELOCATE
Digestive ailment facility to double in size, add 30 more jobs.
A medical facility KETTERING — in Kettering will be relocating to a new $10 million facility in Sugarcreek Twp. in 2018, doubling its size in space and adding about 30 more positions to the company’s workforce.
Digestive Specialists and Digestive Endoscopy Center at 999 Brubaker Drive will relocate to a new 28,000-square-foot, two-story facility on Clyo Road in Sugarcreek Twp., located next to Five Seasons Country Club and within walking distance of Miami Valley South Hospital.
Managing partner Dr. Rajkamal Jit said the move will help better serve surrounding communities.
“This move is to service our patients from Centerville, Kettering, Bellbrook, Beavercreek and
the Xenia/Jamestown area,” Jit said. “It’s a very central location, right off Interstate 675. It’s a better location.”
The medical building will be constructed on about six acres of land and will house an endoscopy center on the first floor and doctor’s offices on the second floor, according to township administra- tor Barry Tiffany.
The medical group has 17 physicians and four physi- cian assistants, and will look to increase the workforce at the location to 80 with the additional employees.
The company provides care for digestive diseases in the area with offices in Springboro, Dayton, Huber Heights and Beavercreek.
“They have a number of other facilities in the area. They’re growing like crazy,” Tiffany said.
The company announced the expansion and reloca
tion of their Huber Heights facility in October.
A groundbreaking cer- emony is planned for Friday at noon with construction completion scheduled around fall 2018.
