Former Florida star Caleb Brantley is facing misdemeano­r charges that he allegedly punched a woman in the face on April 13, knocking her out and dislodging a tooth. The defensive lineman, 22, was charged Friday with battery against the woman, according to Alachua County, Fla., court records. Brantley was expected to be a top-round pick in this week’s NFL draft.

New signee D’Antne Demery was dismissed from the team after he was arrested following an argument with his girlfriend. Demery was arrested Saturday night on charges of simple battery and criminal trespass in Athens, Ga. The offensive lineman was scheduled to begin classes in June.

Georgia:

Police say former defensive end Auston Robertson, 19, was in custody after being charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct from an incident on April 8. Shortly after prosecutor­s announced the charge on Friday, Michigan State said Robertson had been dismissed from the team.

Clarke MacArthur scored a power-play goal 6:30 into overtime and the Ottawa Senators beat the host Boston Bruins 3-2 on Sunday to win their first-round playoff series in six games.

Craig Anderson stopped 28 shots for Ottawa, which advanced in the postseason for the first time since 2013. The Senators will play the Rangers in the second round.

“We came in here, took a deep breath (and) realized that, ‘Hey, tie game. Next shot wins. Let’s get back to business,’” Anderson said. “That’s all we did.”

Tuukka Rask made 26 saves for the Bruins, and Boston got goals from Drew Stafford and Patrice Bergeron.

Bobby Ryan and Kyle Turris scored for Ottawa five minutes apart in the second to give the Senators a 2-1 lead. But Bergeron tied it early in the third to force overtime for the fourth time in the series. .

LeBron James stuck to the old script Sunday.

Again, he bailed out the Cleveland Cavaliers. And again, he sent the Indiana Pacers home for vacation.

On yet another milestone day for basketball’s king, James’ crowning achievemen­t was the go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:08 to play that helped the defending champions hold on for a series-clinching 106-102 victory at Indiana.

“You have to mentally challenge yourself every year and go out and try to do what’s right — putting your body on the line,” James said.

He finished with 33 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, four steals and two blocks.

By winning his 21st consecutiv­e first-round game, James broke a tie with Michael Cooper, Magic Johnson and James Worthy for the longest streak under the NBA’s current playoff format. By sweeping a series for the 10th time, James broke a tie with Tim Duncan for the most in a career, according to Elias Sports Bureau.

Celtics 104, (at) Bulls 95:

Isaiah Thomas scored 33 points as Boston evened the first-round playoff series at 2-all.

Boston blew a 20-point lead, but Thomas keyed a third-quarter run that put the Celtics back on top after Chicago briefly went ahead.

Six minutes into overtime, Bruins forward David Pastrnak was sent off for pulling MacArthur down from behind as he entered the Boston zone. MacArthur, who had missed 156 straight regular-season games after sustaining a concussion on Oct. 14, 2015, ended it 36 seconds later.

Gerald Green made four 3-pointers on his way to 18 points. Al Horford added 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Capitals 2, (at) Maple Leafs 1 (OT):

Marcus Johansson stuffed his second goal of the game past Frederik Andersen at 6:31 of overtime, lifting Washington into the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Penguins.

Johansson pulled Washington even at 1-1 with less than eight minutes to go in

Game 5 is Wednesday in Boston. Jimmy Butler carried the Bulls with 33 points and nine assists. the third period after Auston Matthews broke a scoreless tie with his fourth goal of the series for Toronto. It was the fifth overtime game of the series, and the record-setting 18th in the first round of the playoffs.

Kings: Rockets 113, (at) Thunder 109:

Nene scored 28 points on perfect shooting from the field, and the Rockets took a 3-1 lead in their first-round playoff series.

Nene made all 12 of his shots and had 10 rebounds. He helped the Rockets overcome an off night by James Harden, who finished with 16 points on 5 for 16 shooting.

Game 5 is Tuesday night in Houston.

Oklahoma City star Russell Westbrook had a triple-double by halftime and finished with 35 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists. The Thunder said Westbrook joined Wilt Chamberlai­n as the only players to claim three consecutiv­e playoff triple-doubles.

Warriors 119, (at) Trail Blazers 113:

Stephen Curry scored 34 points — including a 3-pointer with just about a minute left that all but sealed the victory as the Warriors took a 3-0 lead in their firstround playoff series.

Playing without both Kevin Durant and coach Steve Kerr, the Warriors came back from a first-half 17-point deficit. Golden State can clinch the series with a win tonight in Game 4 at the Moda Center.

Marc Gasol hit a 12-foot floater with 0.7 seconds left in overtime to tie the firstround series at 2-all. 50, replaces Darryl Sutter after serving as an assistant to two Kings head coaches over the past eight seasons, which included the franchise’s only two Stanley Cup championsh­ip runs.

Mats Zuccarello scored twice in the second as New York eliminated Montreal 4-2 to advance to the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Leon Draisaitl and Anton Slepyshev scored on breakaways in the opening minutes of the second period as Edmonton eliminated San Jose 4-2 to advance to the Western Conference semifinals.
