Advice for freshmen:
Don’t slack off freshman year. It will wreck your GPA later and there’s nothing you can do to go back and change it later. Volunteer consistently somewhere so you can put it on scholarship applications. Also, start drinking coffee.
Seriously, volunteer consistently somewhere. Volunteering at a bunch of one-time things doesn’t really help when you need a letter of recommendation for a scholarship. Also, don’t procrastinate on important stuff like studying for AP tests and filling out scholarship applications.
