Cassie Barlow,
Dr. SOCHE Director of Aerospace Professional Development, has been appointed to the Ohio House BRAC and Military Affairs Task Force (BMATF).
Barlow, who served as Wing Commander of the 88 Air Base Wing, WPAFB, was determined to be an excellent fit for the task force following input from Ohio’s U.S. senators, congressional delegates, industry leaders, military experts and other federal, state and local groups.
She joined the Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education in July. As SOCHE Aerospace Professional Development Director, Barlow works with the aerospace and defense industry, government and higher education institutions around Ohio and the STEM initiatives in the Dayton region to offer career coaching, match employees with job openings, identify skills gaps in the workforce, facilitate internships in aerospace and assist students in finding STEM programs.
Barlow received her PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Rice University. She also holds a Master’s Degree from National Defense University, Industrial College of the Armed Forces, in Military National Resource Strategy and Policy and a Master’s Degree from Air Command and Staff College in Military Operational Art and Science/Studies. 2016, Ann returned to the office as a Criminal Docket Attorney.
As Supervising Attorney, Ann will supervise the Assistant Prosecutors presenting criminal cases to the Montgomery County Grand Jury as well as the Assistant Prosecutors handling Preliminary Hearings in Municipal Court. She will also be the primary Assistant Prosecuting Attorney responsible for reviewing cases presented by law enforcement for felony criminal charges. nursing degree from the University of Cincinnati and her masters of science in nursing from Ohio University.
