Extremetrail run plannedbyYMCA
TheMud-o-Ween extreme trail run is held on Saturday, Oct. 21, at Countryside YMCA in Lebanon.
This 5Krunis heldonthe nature trails and has a variety of obstacles such as a creek, a pond, hurdles, water pits and mud. Competitors are encouraged to wear a super hero costume.
The event is open to adults and youth ages 11 and older. Early registration is $45 per person, or $35 per person on a team.
Packet pick up is Friday, Oct. 20 from noon to 7 p.m. Race day registration starts 8:45 a.m. and the race begins at 10 a.m. Runners will start in waves of 6 people every 30 seconds.
Participants are advised towear shoes and clothes that can get muddy and bring a change of clean clothes. Warm showers are available.
Finisher awards are presented to all who complete the course. Additional awards presented for top three male and female overall individuals, top three finishers in age groups as well as top three finishers for teams and corporate teams. There is also an award for best costume.
