URS offers financial planning workshop
A free seminar on guardianship and financial planning for individuals with developmental disabilities will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 28, at United Rehabilitation Services, 4710 Old Troy Pike.
This event, which is open to the public, will feature Greg Darling, the executive director of The Disability Foundation, and Brittany O’Diam Horseman, an attorney with the O’Diam & Stecker Law Group, who will cover issues of guardianship and Power of Attorney, and provide an introduction to Medicaid and Social Security. The session will also address pooled trusts as a vehicle for financial planning.
