The Cincinnati Bengals have played six times on Oct. 22 and are 3-3 in those contests.

Here is a look at each of those games:

Oct. 22, 2006 – Cincinnati Bengals 17, Carolina Panthers 14 at Paul Brown Stadium Trailing by four entering the fourth quarter, Carson Palmer directed a 13play, 86-yard drive that ended with a 1-yard touchdown pass to T.J. Houshmandzadeh with 8:07 remaining as the Bengals snapped Carolina’s four-game win streak and improved to 4-2. Oct. 22, 2000 – Cincinnati Bengals 31, Denver Broncos 21 at Paul Brown Stadium Corey Dillon ran for an NFL record 278 yards and two touchdowns to lead the winless Bengals to a victory against a Denver team that would go on to finish 11-5 and make the playoffs. In addition to improving to 1-6, the win was the first for head coach Dick LeBeau, who took over after Bruce Coslet resigned three weeks into the season. Oct. 22, 1990 – Cincinnati Bengals 34, Cleveland Browns 13 at Cleveland Stadium Quarterback Boomer Esiason completed just seven passes, but two of them went for touchdowns to Rodney Holman and Michael Barber as the Bengals routed the Browns on Monday night football. Oct. 22, 1978 – Buffalo Bills 5, Cincinnati Bengals 0 at Rich Stadium Tom Dempsey’s 20-yard field goal in the second quarter accounted for the only points of the game until the Bills tackled punt returner Vernon Law in the end zone for a safety in the second quarter. The loss, which is one of only three games in NFL history to end in a 5-0 score, dropped the Bengals to 0-8.

Oct. 22, 1972 – Los Angeles Rams 15, Cincinnati Bengals 12 at Los Angeles Coliseum After trailing the entire game, the Bengals tackled Rams quarterback Roman Gabriel in the end zone for a gametying safety, but LA kicker David Ray won the game with 32-yard field goal. It was the first time in NFL history a game finished 15-12 and still stands as one of just eight to end in that score.
