Convict caught after fleeing hospital visit

After a night out of police custody, Robert Langford was apprehende­d in the area of Industrial Drive and Shaker Road, about three miles north of Atrium Medical Center, where he had escaped custody by authoritie­s. He’s in Warren County Jail now on a count of escape.

Langford never made it into Atrium Medical Center on Wednesday night before escaping correction­s custody, a hospital spokeswoma­n reports. He was due to have a medical treatment at the hospital.

Langford is an inmate at the Community Correction­s Center across the street from the Lebanon Correction­al Institute on Ohio 63.

Langford escaped custody of CCC staff while being transporte­d to the medical center. He was last seen running north from the center in a hospital gown.

He was sentenced to the CCC after being convicted of drug offenses. as well as the parking lot, police found Dorrian D. Jones, 28, and Michelle Botelho, 35, engaging in oral sex inside a Chevrolet Impala. Jones and Botelho are now in Montgomery County Jail on charges of public indecency.

Jones also faces new charges of weapons under disability, carrying a concealed weapon, and a parole violation for a recent aggravated robbery conviction.

Police officers also found a loaded Smith & Wesson pistol and over 100 rounds of ammunition in the vehicle, the police report said.

Botelho also faces charges of falsificat­ion, obstructin­g official business, possessing drug abuse instrument­s, and outstandin­g felony warrants. She reportedly had four syringes in her possession and gave her sister’s social security number when officers were trying to identify her, according to the police report. owner, Antonio Celik, shows a large rock thrown four times at a plexiglass door before breaking it and crawling inside. Around 4:35 a.m. Thursday, a vacant home in the 200 block of Deeds Avenue was damaged by fire. It started in a living room and destroyed the home’s front porch, according to initial reports.
