TitleFirstAgencyhas hired Dean Talaganis to serve as special counsel to the president of Title Firs. . H In this role, Talaganis will advise Sean A. Stoner, president ofTitle First Agency, on matters related to national licensing and wi l l manage special projects, including the centralization of processing and work flflow training programs and the creationandmanagement of scalability and customer service models for Title First’s 15 offiffices in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan andWest Virginia. Part of Talaganis’ dutieswill also includemarketing Title First’s services on a local and national scale and serving as a speaker on topics such as title insurance, closing issues, foreclosures and ethics.
TitleFirstAgency, founded in Columbus in 1956, is licensed to operate in 32 states and does business in all 50 states through strategic partnerships throughout the country. The company employsmore than 95 people in the areas of sales, marketing, operations, IT, legal, compliance, title production, claims, underwriting and executive offiffices. The fifirm consists of four main divisions: residential retail, national operations ( purchase, refifinance, HELOC), commercial and foreclosure/ REO.
Most recently, Talaganis was operationsmanager and underwritingcounselatOhio RealTitleAgency, LLC. There he oversaw a staffff of more than 80 employees in six Ohio offices who worked in the escrow, title production, policy and salesdepartment. Prior to that, he was a partner with the law fifirm of Morris Hardwick Schneider (Morris SchneiderWittstadt, LLC) wherehewas the regional partner for Ohio, Delaware and Indiana.
