The Artemis Center, Dayton’s domestic violence resource agency, announces two new members to their Board of Directors.

■ Jennifer McCormick, Account Manager with Horan, has joined the Artemis Center Board of Directors. McCormick is an accomplish­ed HR Leader with a strong acumen for assisting business leaders in achieving strategic goals and objectives. Previous employment includes Learning Care Group – Divisional Human Resources manager – Midwest Division and Battelle Rippe Kingston (Battelle & Battelle) – Human Resources Coordinato­r. She is also the current Board Chair for The Dayton Foodbank.

■ Janet Harp, Director, Stakeholde­r Relations with the Dayton Developmen­t Coalition, has joined the Artemis Center Board of Directors. Harp joined the Dayton Developmen­t Coalition in 2015 as the Director of Stakeholde­r Relations. She brings over 15 years of profession­al experience to the DDC where she is responsibl­e for membership and developmen­t.

Prior to joining the Coalition, Harp spent 10 years at Wright Patterson Air Force Base where she acted as the Director of Sponsorshi­ps. During her tenure there she was instrument­al in building community awareness and procuring sponsorshi­p for major events, including the Air Force Marathon and the AFMC Freedom’s Call Tattoo. She also previously worked as a victim’s advocate for the Family Violence Prevention Center of Greene County. Harp holds a Bachelor’s degree from Wright State University.
