General internist joins health centers

General internist Mamle Anim, MD, has joined the staff of Five Rivers Health Centers and will continue in the role of chief medical officer at the Federally-Qualified Health Center (FQHC).

Most recently, Anim was vice chair for ambulatory education in the department of internal medicine at Wright State University. In her new role she will maintain her faculty position with the university as an associate professor of medicine.

Anim is a graduate of the University of Zambia School of Medicine. She has been a faculty member at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine since completing her residency at the same institutio­n in 1997. She completed a Primary Care Faculty Developmen­t Fellowship at Michigan State University in 1999. She has previously held medical director roles in the internal medicine resident clinics at Good Samaritan Hospital, Miami Valley Hospital and was assistant program director of the Wright State Internal Medicine residency program.

In addition to her administra­tive roles, Anim remains clinically active, sees patients regularly and is an avid patient advocate. who has served in numerous industry roles since 1999.

Originally from Killeen, Texas, Hogan earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Administra­tion from Appalachia­n State before working in various hotel, restaurant and catering enterprise­s in Georgia, Washington D.C., Virginia, Texas, Connecticu­t, Alabama, North Carolina and Ohio.
