Criminal child enticement charges filed against suspect.

A man has been DAYTON — arrested on multiple charges, including criminal child enticement, after investigators alleged he followed a student to Wogaman Middle School earlier this week.

Emmanuel T. Warren, 35, was in Montgomery County Jail on Friday afternoon on charges of criminal child enticement, criminal trespassing, and carrying a concealed weapon, according to the jail website.

Dayton police responded to the school at 920 McArthur Avenue on Feb. 13 after receiving a 911 call from the middle school that a 13-year-old girl had been followed. The girl made it to school safely.

No suspect was located on Feb. 13. Dayton police tried again to

find the person Feb. 15, and officers were able to apprehend Warren.

He appeared in Dayton Municipal Court on Friday for the CCW charge. Court documents indicate he was carrying a knife, which his parole does not allow.

Warren has prior convictions in Montgomery County for two cases of aggravated robbery, robbery, and breaking and entering. The jail website also shows Warren violated his parole.

In 2017, Warren was convicted in Dayton Municipal Court for public indecency. In that incident, Warren was reportedly masturbating in the area of Adelite Avenue, with a child within sight, according to court and police records.

Bond was set at $10,000 on Friday. The judge said that was because Warren has a history of not showing up for court appearances.
