Nature, 8 PM on Ch. 16 and Ch. 48; 1 AM on Ch. 16 and Ch. 48:

If there’s any question of the care that’s taken with endangered species in certain cases, “The Last Rhino” supplies bountiful evidence. The last male northern white rhino certainly is well-protected, kept under an around-theclock armed guard in a sanctuary in Kenya. How he came to be the last of his kind is considered during the hour, as are thoughts of the possible future of his kind — and the cost entailed in keeping him safe and alive.

Homicide City, 10 PM on ID; 1 AM on ID:

Philadelphia may be known as the City of Brotherly Love, but there was a time in its history when police detectives had to handle around 400 homicide cases every year. This new true-crime series revisits that darker time and the cases that still haunt the survivors today. In the series premiere, “A Manager’s Murder,” a Philadelphia restaurant manager is murdered at work, five months before his wedding. Witnesses left tied up at the scene can offer few concrete details to detectives.

2018 Winter Olympics, 10:45 PM on NBCSN:

The Canadian women’s hockey team has won the Olympic gold medal four straight times, dating back to the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Three of those times their opponent in the gold medal game has been the United States, who beat the Canadians for gold in 1998 in Nagano in the first women’s hockey Olympic tournament. Odds are good for another rematch.
