Repacorpac­quires Hooven-Daytonasse­ts

Tipp City’s Repacorp Inc., a label manufactur­er, has acquired Hooven-Dayton Corp.’s “assets and intellectu­al property.” The purchase terms were not disclosed. Equipment fromMiamis­burg-based Hooven-Dayton will be incorporat­ed into Repacorp facilities in Tipp City, Wisconsin and Arizona. The rest of the equipment will be auctioned, the web site said. A message seeking comment was left with Rick Heinl, Repacorp president. Meanwhile, an auction ofHooven-Dayton’s remaining equipment still appears to be on for July 10-11. TheBranfor­dGroup, anindustri­al auction company, with Joseph Finn Co & North East Printing Machinery, will conduct anonline auction for the remaining assets formerly owned by the Miamisburg company, which appears to have closed. Items to be auctioned off include presses and parts, forklift trucks and vehicles, office furniture, a packaging department, air compressor­s and much more.
