The Springboro PlanningCo­mmission is to review a site plan for a large addition to Hardy Diagnostic’s building at 429 S. Pioneer Dr. Game Constructi­on (Vandalia) is to build a 44,789-square foot addition on the rear/east side of the 47,242-square-foot building at the intersecti­on of South Pioneer and West Lower Springboro Road.

Also, the commission is to reviewa site plan for a single-bay, 3,157-square foot, Four Seasons car wash at 555W. Central Ave. Van Con Inc. (Dayton) is to build the car wash on the northern half of the parcel where a Papa John’s restaurant and a vacant building that once housed an auto title loan agency and Blockbuste­r video store are located. The vacant building would be demolished. The site is just east of South Pioneer andWest Central Avenue (Ohio 73).

In addition, Flying Ace Care Wash, of Reynoldsbu­rg, is seeking rezoning and general plan approval for a single-bay car wash on a site 375 feet southeast of the intersecti­on of LytleFive PointsRoad and NorthMain Street (Ohio 741). Carwashes cannot be developed on the property under current zoning.

The items will involve separate recommenda­tions and legislatio­n to City Council.

The property is vacant. It is part of a developmen­t, including KeyBank, the Settlers Station shopping center and PNC Bank. The developmen­t also included the developmen­t of a private access drive system for all three sites and connecting to Lytle-Five Points Road and North Main Street.
