Rachel Sidwell, MD, has joined Northwest Dayton Pediatrics, in Englewood. Prior to joining PriMed Physicians, Sidwell cared for patients at a pediatric practice in Piqua, Ohio.
Sidwell earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed her residency at the Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center in New York.

PriMed Physicians welcomes Stephanie Morrison, MD, to our offices in Kettering and Wright Dunbar. As a board-certified pediatrician, Morrison has served in the Air Force, most recently as a pediatrician at Wright-Patterson AFB.

City Manager Shelley Dickstein announces the promotion of two Department of Public Works employees to new positions.
Tom Ritchie Jr., a career city employee, is promoted to the position of deputy director of public works. As deputy director, he will be responsible for oversight of operational and administrative functions for the department’s five divisions: Civil Engineering, Fleet Management, Property Management, Street Maintenance and Waste Collection.
Ritchie most recently served as acting director of public works and has been manager of the Division of Waste Collection since 2003. He began more than 30 years of city employment during high school as a summer employee at Community Golf Club and joined the Division of Waste Collection in 1987. During his tenure there, he implemented the curbside recycling program, as well as GIS- and RFID-enabled systems allowing service improvements and efficiencies.
Keith Steeber, PE, is promoted to the position of city engineer (manager of the Division of Civil Engineering). Steeber is a career city employee, starting as a municipal inspector in 1982 and serving as engineer, senior engineer, and chief engineer. His accomplishments include design, construction management and supervision of public improvement projects such as streets, Dayton International Airport runways, and neighborhood improvements. He most recently served as acting manager of the division of civil engineering. He earned a bachelors degree in civil engineering at the University of Dayton.
Katie Wahl recently joined the firm of Pickrel, Schaeffer & Ebeling Co., LPA. In her practice, Wahl focuses on business and corporate law, as well as estate planning, probate (including estate administration and guardianships) and Medicaid planning. After serving as a complex business litigator for eight years, she transitioned her practice to her current focus. As a corporate and business lawyer, she has experience in forming new entities and assisting clients with the sale or purchase of a business, as well as drafting terms and conditions, contracts and other agreements. She also has extensive experience in working with nonprofit entities to obtain and maintain their nonprofit status.
Wahl is a 2003 honors graduate of the Notre Dame Law School. She also earned a masters in economics from the University of Notre Dame and was the first in the school’s history to combine the two curricula into one program.
