Parks & Trails plans free night bike rides

Enjoy free evening bicycle rides escorted by Greene County Parks & Trails (GCP&T) Trail Sentinels beginning at 7 p.m. July 7, from Xenia Station to Cedarville, as well as at 7 p.m. July 18, from Fairground­s Recreation Center, Xenia, to Jamestown and July 21, from Old Town Reserve to Young’s Jersey Dairy, Yellow Springs.

Participan­ts must be older than 18, wear a helmet and have lights. Rides will be canceled in case of a thundersto­rm. For more informatio­n, call 937-562-6440. Greene County Public Library system will hold its next regular meeting on 2 p.m. July 11 at the Jamestown Community Library, 86 Seaman Drive.

The Library Board meets on the second Wednesday of each month, except during the month of August when there is no meeting. The Greene County Public Library system is available at www.greenelibr­ary.info.

Register by July 10 at: wpcu@ info.wpcu.coop. The title of his series is “Stories in Nature” and gives the viewer a visual exploratio­n of the many dramatic struggles found in the natural world. Nature lovers, art enthusiast­s and the general public will all enjoy this exhibit and the content it showcases.

A reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. July 12.
