WEST MILTON 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION: Celebrate the Fourth with carnival rides today through July 4. Events on the Fourth include a 5K race, water balloon wars, music by The Rocketdog Band and fireworks at dusk at West Milton Park, Route 571, West Milton. Free admission. CLARK COUNTY OLD FASHIONED FIREWORKS: July 2,

CITY OF DAYTON LIGHTS IN FLIGHT FIREWORKS FESTIVAL 2018: July 3, 5 to 10 p.m. at Riverside MetroPark, 111 E. Monument Ave., Dayton. Multi-cultural festival featuring music, food and family fun, including a kids’ zone. The festival begins at 5 p.m., and fireworks will light the sky over downtown Dayton at 10 p.m. Free. 937-333-3636.

CITY OF LEBANON INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION:
July 3, 4 to 10 p.m. at Colonial Park, across from Warren County Fairgrounds, Lebanon. Bring the family to enjoy live music, free inflatables and activities, including a petting zoo. CENTERVILLE AMERICANA FIREWORKS AND FESTIVAL: Parade and festival on Wednesday, July 4, 7:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Fireworks are the night before on July 3, with food and live music. Gates open at 6 p.m. and entertainment begins at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday’s events will run from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Franklin Street, downtown Centerville. 5K at 7:30 a.m. at Centerville High School Stadium, Americana Parade at 10 a.m. begins on East Franklin Street, west of Centerville High School, and proceeds West to Cline Elementary on Virginia Avenue. Showcasing more than 120 units, the parade features numerous bands, floats and numerous mobile and walking units. OREGON DISTRICT INDEPENDENTS’ DAY STREET FAIR: July 3, 1 to 8 p.m. at Oregon District on Fifth Street, Dayton. Local, independent vendors from all over the Dayton area will be setting up the length of 5th Street; the aim for this event is to celebrate and develop independent culture, commerce and creativity. CITY OF BEAVERCREEK 4TH OF JULY PARADE & FIREWORKS: July 4, 6 to 10:30 p.m. at Rotary Park, 2260 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek. Parade begins at 6 p.m. at Meadowbridge Drive continuing east on Dayton-Xenia Road to Beavercreek High School. After the parade, at Rotary Park, there will be food trucks, live entertainment with the USAF Band of Flight, inflatable bounce houses and fireworks at 10 p.m. Free. 937-427-5500. RED WHITE AND BOONSHOFT: July 4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Boonshoft Museum of Discovery, 2600 Deweese Pkwy., Dayton. This indoor/ outdoor seasonal celebration is packed with themed experiments, entertainment, and more. CITY OF PIQUA 4TH FEST: July 4, Noon to 10 p.m. at Downtown Piqua. The Piqua 4th Fest is back and in a new location. This year’s festival has been moved to Downtown Piqua from 12 – 9:30 p.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m. Featuring multiple new activities this year, including painting of the snow plows, a pop-up splash pad, cornhole tournament, a kids zone and so much more. 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS AT KINGS ISLAND: July 4, 10 p.m. at Kings Island, 6300 Kings Island Drive, Mason. Kings Island will pay tribute to the lands of the free and home of the brave with four nights of the dazzling fireworks displays, with some blasts soaring more than 800 feet. The fireworks show will last 20 minutes, making it notably longer than the park’s traditional nightly fireworks shows. To keep the 4th of July activities and excitement in gear, Kings Island will stay open until midnight, giving guests the chance to experience and enjoy even more thrills on rides like The Beast, Banshee, Diamondback and the award-winning Mystic Timbers. In addition, Kings Island will pay tribute to members of the Military by offering free admission on Military Appreciation Days, July 1 – 4. ALL AMERICAN BLAST - FIREWORKS IN FRANKLIN: July 4, 6 to 11 p.m. at Franklin Community Park, 306 East 6th St., Franklin. Don’t miss The Wettest 4th of July Parade in Ohio stepping off at 10 a.m. from the Lion’s Bridge, to South Main Street and along 6th Street ending at Franklin Community Park.
